How do I prepare this?
Put the chick peas in a pot with at least double the amount of water in it. Close it with a lid and soak them for at least 12 hours. The longer you soak them the faster the cooking process afterwards. Pour the remaining water away after soaking to get rid of the poisonous substances. Quickly rinse the chick peas with fresh water.
Put the chick peas into a pot of water. Heat it up and make it boil. Cook it for 20 minutes under low heat. They are ready when you can put a knife through them easily. Rinse the chickpeas under fresh water.
